Popsicle Bridge

This was the poster for a Popsicle-stick bridge building competition at NSCC.  There's an animated version, but for some reason it's not uploading properly.

The Ivy

Did this quick mockup for one of the public relations students at NSCC.

Locally Sourced Building Materials

This was a posterboard for a group project on locally sourced building materials for my communications class at NSCC.

Headache

Cripes!  I haven't posted in a while!  Here's something I did a while ago, I saw this fantastic storm on my cross Canada trip a few years ago and I had to do something with the photos.

Popsicle Stick Bridge Ad

It's been a while, and holy crap do I have a lot I should have posted. NSCC had a bridge building competition this past week and I volunteered to do up the poster and TV ad that would show up around the school.

Lecture Class Sketches 3.

Lecture Class Sketches 2.

Page two of my Lecture Class sketches. These are all just comps of various pages; doodles from margins and backs of pages.

Lecture Class Sketches.

I've been doing a bit of sketching during the lecture Classes at school. Old habits can sneak back into your life sometimes I guess. I'm still paying attention, just keeping in practice while the teacher's talking.

Young Mike

Someone recently brought to my attention the fact that I haven't posted anything on here in a while. I have been pretty slack with my art lately. I've started more than a few things, but haven't finished any of them. I did however, find something to post...

My folks recently started a "memory wall" (something old people do I guess,) and I saw my baby picture. I thought I'd share it with the world!

I haven't changed much, have I? I wonder where I put that tracksuit?

L.H.O.O.Q.

I've been seeing this amazing chick for the past little while. She's been everywhere... She said she's even seen the Mona Lisa in The Louvre!

I told her about the Dadaist artist Marcel Duchamp
who took a postcard of the Mona Lisa, drew a moustache on it, called it L.H.O.O.Q. and used it as one of his "readymades."

I did this up and gave it to her on our last date.

Dockworker

I think I should have maybe dirtied him up a little. A well. It's never done, just done enough.

Camera

Started taking a photo class. Hopefully I won't be staring at my DSLR in confusion every time I go to take a photo now.
